Hey,

I was just wondering where the hideref function is actually being called from.

I have checked in system/libs/functions.php and replaced:

PHP Code:
Hidden content for guests

With

PHP Code:
Hidden content for guests

But it still continues to use hideref over Custom Links.

The main reason I am wondering if because Hideref doesn't actually hide the referrer, even by using it's own test.

When visiting http://hideref.org/?http://hideref.org/test.html it results in:

[IMG]Hidden content for guests[/IMG]

However when I use http://***.net/link?http://hideref.org/test.html it results in:

[IMG]Hidden content for guests[/IMG]

Which clearly does work.

Thanks
Hello,

Hideref works very well, I don't know how you tested, but I tested right now and works very well. Hideref use 2 dereferers solutions in the same time. This service was created by us specially for PES Pro, we know very well how it works and if really works. Anyway, to replace hideref, you have to edit all modules, not only this function.

To be honestly, as I can see, website posted by you is new (registered yesterday) and I think you wanna use this website only to promote it. It's your problem, feel free to edit your website how do you want, but spam (directly or not) is not allowed here.

P.S: To test HideRef, click from this topic on link posted by you, you will see true results. If you access test page from HideRef homepage, is something normal to see referrer (because link wasn't derefered, was directly accessed from homepage), because this is part of test, you have to click again on link posted on test page, to see if works or not.
