I'm thinking most users don't know about the "Daily Bonus" so why not have a small popup show when they enter, saying "Click to receive your daily bonus coins" Then a 2nd popup confirming.

This would create the hype for the user to keep coming back, as most don't know about it.

Just a though, check below for something like the popup I'm thinking

I think that function is useless, because name of that function is "Daily Bonus", is more than enough for user to know what is this and is useless to open aditional popups, without any reason
