I'm not a fan of massive images as BGs. I prefer clean and minimalistic layouts because that is just too off putting to use.

We want to change our design, because its to boring. We do not use a nice bg on the version that is online at this moment. But we had the feeling to boost the design to a new generation Most of the users are young people and thats why we wanted to choose to a hip design

But you are right, we never used that kind of bg in other sites that we designed. Its just a test to get feedback. We would never take this design for an business page

If someone is interested in our "old" design, just contact me We guess that we will launch the new design on 01.04.2013 ...

BTW why do you remove you stats pages from your sites?

We are changing the stats page. So every user can see his own stats for action that day he is online. So he can see how many clicks on fb or traffic he have made.

When you are logedin you can see the stats (soon available). But we do not want to show the stats to everybody

They are a great way to show off how popular your site is to everybody and get some more registrations though.
