Pes Pro 1.8.4 - New Facebook App Set up - stevehead - 02-17-2013

Hi Admin

We already have a Facebook app registered with our site name - does the app for the new Facebook Settings module in admin have to be exactly the same as the site name in the General Settings, or can we set up an app with a different name to get the App ID?

A screen shot of correct settings from the Facebook App page would be very useful

Thanks

Steve

Hello,

Doesn't matter what name your app have and we don't think to be required a screenshot, as long as you have to complete just 2-3 fields (your app name and your website domain).

Regards!

Hello

Is there any reason, why this is added in the system ?
I am busy to make the newest update today, but i canĀ“t understand, why it is changed so we have to make an app.

I think, that the older version is running very well, so maybe there is a reason why we have to make an app. Could you please explain, Admin ?

Hello,

Because basic Graph API is pretty limited (something like 600 api calls per 600 seconds) and there are few customers with high activity on facebook section and that limit make troubles many times. In this way, that limit was increased, but old system still can be used.

Regards!
