Paypal fees - lossehelin - 02-25-2013 How do you deal with paypal fees? I did a transaction test for $1 and i only received 66 cents! RE: Paypal fees - Admin - 02-25-2013 Hello, Paypal fees are something like 2.9% + 0.30$ from each transaction, here you have more info: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees Regards! RE: Paypal fees - stevehead - 02-25-2013 Hi lossehelin It's really important you mention in your FAQs or Terms of Service re cash withdrawals that a transaction fee will be deducted by PayPal and that these, and any exchange rate loss, are at the receivers cost. I hope that helps - if it does please give me a forum Rep+1 Thanks Steve Head RE: Paypal fees - Admin - 02-25-2013 Hello, Well, if you send 1$ to somebody (for example) he will receive 1$ from you, paypal will deduct fees from his money, not from yours (user already know that, they accepted Paypal TOS when they joined on paypal). But, there is a possibility to avoid these fees, when you pay any from your users, you can send payment as a gift and Paypal doesn't deduct any fee from transaction. Regards! RE: Paypal fees - stevehead - 02-25-2013 Thanks for the gift tip Admin, that's really good to know Steve RE: Paypal fees - lossehelin - 02-25-2013 yes in theory everyone should know that fees will be deducted. i am used to it, i wasn't expecting for them to have so big impact when it is low amounts. |
