Hi all,
I think it would be a good idea to allow users to opt out/in of the newsletter via the user account settings with a default disclaimer at the bottom of email (explaining the opt out procedure).
Also since some hosts only allow so many emails to be sent per day could this be an option (max per day). Exchange owners need to be aware that email is also used for sign up and to set the max per day just slightly lower to allow for this.
