As a "webmaster" for over 11yrs, I (as well as most of my fellow modern day internet marketers) use Facebook posts to promote a variety of services and products. So, whether you personally use FB posts for promotions or not, having the capability for people to 'like' your promotional Facebook Posts can be very valuable for those that do.
While I understand that FB updates their platform every so often and creating such mod may be challenging, I hope you are open-minded enough to realize there are a ton of marketers out there who do indeed use FB posts in their promotions and will consider it in a future update (if possible, coding-wise).
You have a great (basic) platform and I know you have spent a lot of time keeping it updated. While I, too, have spent a tremendous amount on recoding parts of it, layout changes and add-ons, I do appreciate your effort and dedication, and look forward to seeing the platform grow and expand over time.
Let me know if you ever need any ideas or inspiration. ;-)
