FRAUDSTER ALERT - stevehead - 07-25-2014 Watch out for fraudster using PayPal account myforex7771123@gmail.com in name of Shirley Huneycutt - we just had three charge-backs from PayPal on our LikeCash site, thankfully we were able to stop purchases before coins were used! RE: FRAUDSTER ALERT - Daxter - 07-25-2014 Thanks Steve for the warning. RE: FRAUDSTER ALERT - lossehelin - 07-26-2014 how can he do a charge back? it is digital goods and paypal does not do anything with that.. or does it? RE: FRAUDSTER ALERT - stevehead - 07-26-2014 The digital goods delivery is acceptable to PayPal (providing you can prove it) when a buyer is just claiming non-delivery or dissatisfaction, but this was, according to PayPal, fraudulent use of another PayPal account by the buyer. There is no seller protection afforded because of some loophole re the nature of the service being provided. Strangely the buyers websites were all forex trading websites and the account supposedly being fraudulent used was 'myforex7771123@gmail.com' - so as far as we are concerned this was a deliberate fraud using an account set up just for the purpose. Hope that helps. |
