WARNING - Read! - Galaxian - 03-20-2013 Hello! This is just a warning to all PES pro users. If you order anything (custom codes) from this user: http://forum.mn-shop.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=159 make sure to check all your codes before you upload anything to your server. I ordered a custom code and he offered to install it for me which menas that he had access to my email, database and FTP login. He abused that power by emailing my users and spreading fake rumos about my website and advertising his own. Email that he sent: Code: Hidden content for guests Be careful when you deal with him but I would suggest you to not trade at all. I liked your code yes but I am not willing to work with someone that is accessing my website, spreading false rumours about it and referring to your own website, even if you offer it for free. I removed your from skype because I am not interested in your service anymore, especially after what happened. Is it more important to lose a customer that was going to return for multiple codes than getting 10 members from a website... You request more modifications you would like to make then you block me on Skype, that's not very professional.. Anyway I hope you can sort this out because I can prove this was not me and all I did was create a great custom add-on which you requested and works perfectly. RE: WARNING - Read! - Galaxian - 03-20-2013 There is no reason for me to fake this, otherwise I would have charged back the money. You even said that you got the email yourself in your junk and this happened over the night when I didn't have time to change password, didn't even think about it. But I don't understand how your partner got the courage to do such a thing... Also, yes, I was going to request more custom codes but I am no longer interested in this due to what happened. You must know how to send emails using the script lol. RE: WARNING - Read! - welcome - 03-20-2013 This is a private battle, we doesn't try to enter on it. I will recommended everyone to doesn't give your original site's details/access to your web developer. Just make a copy of a original website to a separate web hosting or on a sub-domain (like test.example.com), create a FTP account pointing to this sub-domain and a separate MySQL database, give all these details to your developer. When they finished it, then ask the developer to give you all editing details and full direction that how you can do it on your main site, so you can manually add all those codes yourself, don't rely on others, world is full of scam and Internet is the first of them. I think this method would help you all. I sent him all the code to add in and he was able to do that but he had to clue how to alter tables in the DB so he sent the info on our business Skype which 3 of us have access to. RE: WARNING - Read! - Galaxian - 03-20-2013 I gave you the info so you could set it up yes. But what gives your partners the right to use my website for fake advertising? Even I also doesn't allow anyone to do that (email send). |
