I was thinking about this and I love the news box in not logged in users, but I was thinking that it is more needed to make comunication better with users something similar to what we have to leave a message for x days in user account.
I think that we could implement the same system we have to leave a message in all the users account at the same time maybe giving a news like (new offer, or active user contest....) and instead of being red it should be green.
