Password encryption

Could the admin possibly update the way the passwords are encrypted since MD5 isn't the best form of encryption.

MD5 is more than enough and safe, changing password encryption type will make your users to set a new password. There is no reason for the moment to change encryption, but you can customise your script how you want.
